Plastar was founded in 1983, as the successor of important companies in the Argentine plastics industry, which had operated since 1955. Thus, the Plastar Group became one of the main transformers of the sector in the country, with a strong regional and global presence. Based on knowledge and technology development, this family business has grown, achieving international quality standards and exporting to more than twenty countries.
Specialized in the production of polyethylene films, the company has three modern industrial plants: Plastar Buenos Aires and Plastar San Luis, in Argentina, and Starplast in Mexico. The total production capacity exceeds 60,000 tons/year.Always committed to respect for our people and the community, promoting improvements that promote a better quality of life and the preservation of the environment.
